Cannot creat Config File for vhost

That's interesting that it occurs with 1.4.4 and not 1.3.7. As I mentioned earlier, the developers and I thought it might be from compiling PHP, but that shouldn't be different for different versions. We'll keep an eye on this. Cheers, Michael

Cannot creat Config File for vhost

Howdy @oyang, You're right. The developer was able to reproduce the bug in 1.4.4. Looks like it was successfully fixed in one, but not the other. We'll definitely have it fixed in the next version. Thanks as always. Michael

    1.4.4 OLS vs FireFox 35.0/35.01

Hey Tyler, What's the site URL? (Does MC stand for "motorcycle"? Because I'm from Brooklyn and here it stands for "master of ceremonies" and usually involves being able to rhyme well.) Perhaps it's a, gulp, HTTP/2 implementation issue... m

    OpenLiteSpeed 1.3.7 and 1.4.4 support HTTP/2

Yup. Unless otherwise noted, OpenLiteSpeed works the same as Enterprise. (Also, this is noted in the OpenLiteSpeed cache module wiki: http://open.litespeedtech.com/mediawiki/index.php/Help:Modules:Cache#Configuring_using_rewrite_rules )

    OpenLiteSpeed 1.3.7 and 1.4.4 support HTTP/2

Ha. Sorry. I thought you answered your own question. Yes. There is an HTTP/2 Clear Text feature that allows you to upgrade to HTTP/2 without HTTPS. As for the cache, certainly. This is an example of how to do it with IPBoard...

Cannot creat Config File for vhost

Hi Oyang, Sorry to hear about that. Can you confirm that your /usr/local/lsws/conf directory is owned by lsadm (and that your admin_php user is lsadm)? About the load, that's probably the load caused by compiling PHP. Compiling PHP requires a lot of resources. Michael

    OpenLiteSpeed 1.3.7 and 1.4.4 support HTTP/2

Howdy all, Just posted this to the Google Group, but I think it bears repeating here: We just released OpenLiteSpeed 1.3.7 and 1.4.4. Both versions support HTTP/2 draft 16. We're very excited about HTTP/2's impending release and will do our best to support it as soon and as fully as possible...

Why does spam account, spam profiles post permitted here?

Ha! Yeah, you're not the first to point this out. OLS.com is an unofficial forum for OpenLiteSpeed. @Slavik controls the software used. At the moment, I believe it shares a VPS with some other sites, so it was easier to use the web server the other sites were already using. Maybe it's time...

What is the complete difference beetwen OpenLiteSpeed & LiteSpeed Enterprise?

Yup. Since 1.3.1: http://open.litespeedtech.com/mediawiki/index.php/Help:Modules:Cache This comparison, though, I do not agree with. I think it's more like: OpenLiteSpeed 1.4 = NGINX Mainline OpenLiteSpeed 1.3 = NGINX Stable LSWS Enterprise > anything Perhaps I'm not totally serious about...

What is the complete difference beetwen OpenLiteSpeed & LiteSpeed Enterprise?

That's not a totally unfair way of putting it. It's not really how we think of it, but the general timeline is right. We don't think of OpenLiteSpeed (especially not the stable versions) as a beta product, but, in this world of perpetual beta we now live in, that way of thinking isn't that far off.

(Nudging @Slavik) I believe @Slavik is doing his best to keep the spam out, but there seems to be a pretty big flood. m

Probably, I should do a blog post about this at some point...

What is the complete difference beetwen OpenLiteSpeed & LiteSpeed Enterprise?

Hmmm. That comparison needs to be updated a little. Initially page caching was not available for OpenLiteSpeed, but it has been for quite some time. Thanks for pointing that out. The stability point, though, probably does require some fleshing out: There are some new features that we debut in...

    Cannot compile PHP 5.6.x

That idiot is very helpful. (Perhaps he'd like a wiki account so he can add his guides to http://open.litespeedtech.com/mediawiki/index.php/Help:Configuration#Unofficial_Third_Party_Guides ?) We're going to remove the Opcache checkbox from PHP 5.5 and 5.6's options. Maybe we'll add it back in...

Howdy guys, Thanks for the added information. Sorry for letting this sit for so long. We're working on pushing out a new version of OpenLiteSpeed real soon. As soon as that's out, we'll work on fixing this bug. Michael
