to change the directory of VHOST ?

Hi,

I'm Newbie OLS user ;-)

In this tuto, the autor purpose to change the directory of VHOST :
/usr/local/lsws/conf/vhosts ==> /var/www/website.com/conf/vhosts

"Lets use a symlink to link our /var/www/ to /usr/local/lsws/conf/vhosts :
ln -s /var/www /usr/local/lsws/conf/vhosts"

I think it's interesting for easier maintenance.
But my question is : Do you see any future problem ? Any Security problem ?

New OLS user here myself but I think that as long as the permissions and ownership are properly set up, the folder structure should be fine.
