@Cold-Egg
I saw that version numbering of OLS for trixie was raised so it was provided as update.
Installed it and it is working fine so far with existing configuration. Thanks!
@Cold-Egg
Is it safe to run: apt install openlitespeed
to update OLS package to Trixie release with keeping installation / webserver configuration?
Because of the lower version numbering no update of OLS is presented on updated Trixie with former BBookworm version installed.
At the moment...
@Cold-Egg
Thanks but lsphp83 is still not updateable because https://rpms.litespeedtech.com/debian/dists/trixie/main/binary-amd64/ -> Packages
still claim libxml2-16 as dependencie which is not available in Trixie but libxml2 (without -16).
The dependencie needs to be changed.
The same problem...
Addition: I think the correct library would be libxml2 (without -16):
https://packages.debian.org/trixie/amd64/libxml2
Addition 2: This one is also used with lsphp84 package according to the dependencies in ols trixie repository.
@Cold-Egg
I just want to inform you about the following. Although not using lsphp83 (but I have it installed) because of lsphp84 I received updates today:
Upgrading:
lsphp83-imap lsphp83-mysql
Not upgrading:
lsphp83
Summary:
Upgrading: 2, Installing: 0, Removing: 0...
One question for Bookworm updaters remain:
I saw that openlitespeed package itself stays on Bookworm version, is this correct?
apt-cache policy openlitespeed
openlitespeed:
Installed: 1.8.4-3+bookworm
Candidate: 1.8.4-3+bookworm
Version table:
*** 1.8.4-3+bookworm 100
100...
@Cold-Egg
Thank you I installed the packages and have no issues so far, but the packages are not actively in use so far, but configuration of corresponding software is done. I removed lsphp84-imap beaucse of your hint.
As I upgraded the server from Bookworm I had to remove some "old" Bookworm...
@Cold-Egg
Thank you for the update. Can you also please validate and add the following lsphp84 extensions?
lsphp84-imap
lsphp84-memcached
lsphp84-mysql
lsphp84-opcache
lsphp84-redis
Best regards!
