Is openlitespeed panel url safe?

Hey guys,

Thank you so much for creating this webserver. It's is truly a masterpiece, and I'm enjoying it a lot.

There is one thing that I'm wondering: Is the panel safe by accessing it by http://ipaddress:7080? Can someone intercept your login request and get your password?

If yes, is there any way to secure it? Perhaps using a subdomain like panel.domain.com with ssl?
