It should work. Can you enable the error log on the OLS and see what header is received from the Apache?

Correct, either set Max Connections to the same value as PHP_LSAPI_CHILDREN or set PHP_LSAPI_CHILDREN lower than the Max Connections.

I agree with you, we will renew the OLS docs and hope it gets clearer. For the server log part, it's a little bit hard to modify especially when it's caused by OOM.

If you have cloudlinux already, cgroup is not needed.

The guide you followed specifies PHP per dir not per virtual host. Your setup for per virtual host looks right to me. Please try updating the suffix from php80 to PHP and see if it helps.

It means PHP is not found, you might need to install it first. To install lsphp, please follow https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lsws/extapp/php/getting_started/, or https://docs.openlitespeed.org/installation/script to install OLS, PHP, MariaDB at one time.

The package hasn't been ready to push to the LiteSpeed repo yet, it will be fixed in the next few days.

Not sure if I get your point, but if you install it under the document root folder, then your app should be able to run it, right? Get composer with the script, see https://getcomposer.org/doc/faqs/how-to-install-composer-programmatically.md, and it seems no cli is required.

Just a reminder, you may encounter other new issues since some old necessary dependency packages are not easy to install on the Alamalinux 8.
