I'm wondering is there any reliable way to check configuration of openlitespeed sites before restart when u do this from cli ?
something like apachectl -t or nginx -t ?

Unfortunately, OLS doesn't have such a verification tool. but OLS provide web admin console tool, if you make change through it, it has extra validation and hardly goes wrong. While on Apache or Nginx, one simple typo may bring it down.
