can anyone help me with solving this?
I am unable to upload any plugin or themes because of the following error
"Failed to obtain or reinitialize VMemBuf."

You may provide more info here, such as your memory, how many workers, HDD free space and CPU, platform and so on.
I used to have a such issue when using a virtual machine with 1GB memory, after I changed to 2GB memory and it is gone. You may have a same issue.

Please check if you have enough space for swap folder and tmp folder.
You can also try to upload a vary small file and see if it works.
