"Global" htaccess

I want to apply the tip of this post to block all requests to WordPress XMLRPC.

Is there any "global htaccess" file that I could save the rules there and apply to all sites?

You may use `rewritefile` to include this global one in every needed place.

There is no global .htaccess, you will need to write the rule to each virtual host document root .htacess file.
