How to integrate awstats?

I want to install awstats and I'm following the instructions on
Setting up AWStats on OpenLiteSpeed
"ln -sf /usr/lib/cgi-bin /var/www/html /cgi-bin"
I get error at step "ln -sf /usr/share/awstats/icon/* /var/www/html/awstats-icon".

There is no such directory on my "var/www/html/cgi/bin" server.

I think this explanation is made for apache, how can I install and use awstats on the server? Or is there another statistical tool you would recommend?
OS I am using:
Ubuntu 20.04
