How to keep the cache warmed up in real time for LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress.

Every user of WordPress and the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin knows the problem. Depending on the configuration of the cache plugin, the cache is purged after changes to a post or page, which particularly affects WooCommerce users. The LiteSpeed Cache Plugin therefore only provides a conditional solution by providing cache warmup via the built-in crawler. However, this only partially solves the significant problem.

The built-in crawler only allows a very static cache warmup, especially since for each cache warmup only the sitemap is available as a source for the URLs to be crawled. Due to the equally static configuration options of the built-in crawler with regard to the crawl interval, this sometimes results in a long delay until the cache of the purged URLs can be warmed up again. This dilemma becomes greater the more often the cache is purged. The cache warmup becomes a useless instrument if the cache is purged more often than the built-in crawler is able to warm up the cache again. Often the cache is purged again before the built-in crawler has finished crawling.

So how can this significant problem be solved so that the cache is always warmed up in almost real time and at the same time the effort for cache warmup is reduced by up to 80%?

This problem cannot be solved with the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin for WordPress because all of the prerequisites for it are missing. But Kitt can. Kitt is a 3rd party cache warmup crawler that has been programmed specifically for LiteSpeed and the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin for WordPress for 5 years. Kitt is not only 300% faster than the built-in crawler, but also uses up to 50% fewer resources for cache warmup.

But Kitt can do a lot more! In order to keep the cache always warmed up depending on the purge settings in the cache plugin, Kitt has an adaptive re-cache function. This re-cache function triggers any changes to a post or page and warms up the cache of the relevant URLs again. Since the effort required for triggering does not require any additional effort and the number of URLs to be crawled is very limited, the re-cache only takes a few seconds even with a large number of URLs to be crawled. Ultimately, this re-cache function ensures that the cache of all URLs is always warmed up, in real time!

Isn't that innovative? There is no other cache warmup crawler that can do that!

What else can Kitt do? The list of outstanding features is long, very long! But the next innovation is that the Kitt cache crawler enables the caching of search results. Although there is no reason not to cache search results, the LiteSpeed Cache plugin does not provide the caching of search results. Kitt enables this important function with just one mouse click!

Can the cache for search results also be warmed up? Of course you can with Kitt. Kitt provides the URLs Most Wanted function for this. URLs Most Wanted, or UMW for short, enables the cache warmup of URLs that are not included in the sitemap. This means that the UMW function can also be used to warm up the cache for pagination or filter URLs. If caching of search results is activated, the UMW function also enables cache warmup of the search results.
