Every now and then the lsmcd [lightspeed memcache daemon?] utilization goes upto 100% percent. This is an Ubuntu 20.04 server.
Following screenshot is from 2 days back. As of of writing this, the utilisation is at 80%. Running HTOP shows the same issue. The utilisation stays at these levels until the server is rebooted after which it goes back to normal. Then the problem will start at a random time.
This causes the server to go unresponsive. Web requests are not responded and the clients receive a timeout error. This is a 6 core VPS with 16GB RAM, with 2 low traffic websites. There is no reason for any service to have 100% CPU utilization on server with these specs, unless a 4k video is getting rendered(which it isn't).
Any ideas would helpful. Thanks.
