# OpenLiteSpeed Now Supports Apache-Style .htaccess Rules Without Restart

OpenLiteSpeed can now support Apache-style `.htaccess` rules without requiring a server restart.
To enable this feature, simply use OLSPanel:
1. Install OLSPanel
2. Add your domain in OLSPanel
3. Go to Advanced → Plugins
4. Install the. htaccess module
5. Your website can now use Apache-style `.htaccess` rules without restarting OpenLiteSpeed.
This makes it easier to migrate Apache-based websites and applications to OpenLiteSpeed while keeping the performance benefits of OpenLiteSpeed.
