Performance difference for OLS using difference linux distro's?

Hi All,

Has anyone had experience with OLS across different Linux distro's - for example does using Cento 7 or Ubuntu result in faster page loads ?

Maybe because the distro is lighter, better tuned or what ever the reason might be?

Im interested in loading dynamic PHP based pages as fast as possible hence the question - have been a long time user of Centos for web servers - the thought crossed my mind - will probably do my own testing, but interested in others opinions as well

I don't feel benchmark has much different between OS, but cache can definitely helps in this case.
May I ask you are using any popular apps like WordPress? See here for more cache information.
