My Centos 7 server recently updated openlitespeed to 1.7.13-1.el7 from the litespeed repository and the server started sending emails with the subject "LiteSpeed Web server /usr/local/lsws/bin/openlitespeed on #machine-name-redacted# restarts automatically to fix 503 Errors".
These emails are being sent at the rate of one per minute and have have no message body.
I can't find any matching 503 error in any log on the server (which log file should they be in?). The server appears to otherwise be running normally, with no reports of user errors, nor any unusual loading.
Restarting openlitespeed did not fix the issue, nor did a server reboot.
The server configuration has not been changed recently, so I am assuming that there is a bug, or at least changed behaviour in openlitespeed.
As a workaround, I have reverted to running apache on the server.
