Subdomain Setup on OLS

Just wondering what setups I would take to have a website under a subdomain, such as panel.myhost.com?

I've played around with the vhost config but I can't seem to find out what really works. I have been able to use a reverse proxy that points a subdomain to an internal app, but not on OLS.

There is no special for subdomain , just treat it as a normal domain and set it up.
create a new vhost and map the sub domain to this vhost in listener.
