What event trigger access log?

#1
Hi guys stupid question. What trigger access log or get record there? I just thought it mean when people access my website, but I definitely access my website today and my ip is not there instead I get these and some random address from all over some are china, some are Russian, some US, some France.... I do use cloudflare, but these doesn't seems like cloudflare to me.

I hide some of the address just in case I violate someone privacy

guys any idea? anyone using OLS with cloudflare? can you check your access log and see what it look like? I also define the log format too with the following %h %t \"%r\" %>s %b but still my log just look pretty much like above, I don't get the GET blah blah or anything else useful.

Hi guys, any admin? @David @Cold-Egg . I think I know why I am not getting any log. I didn't realized that there is a separate setting for log inside the Virtual Host session. However I can't seems to add anything. Every time, I try to change the setting inside the virtual host for my wordpress virtual host (using the server IP:7080), the setting does NOT get save (I get the msg that the setting have change and should do a graceful restart, but nothing show up on the screen), so I am guessing that why I have useless access log, because the setting I been playing with is the server access log, which I still want to know what trigger those logs. I went into the Example Virtual Host setting and change some of those setting and it seems to save and I even found the access log file for the Example Virtual Host as well.

Is there some permission thing? my entire wordpress virtual host folder has the

drwxr-xr-x 6 nobody nogroup 4.0K Oct 30 10:25 wordpress

drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4.0K Oct 29 01:24 Example

The only different is one own by root and the other own by nobody nogroup. Which I think the wordpress folder should be own by nobody nogroup, which should be correct.

The vhost config for both is own by

drwxr-xr-x 2 lsadm lsadm 4.0K Nov 23 22:06 Example
drwxr-xr-x 2 lsadm lsadm 4.0K Nov 23 21:59 wordpress
