OpenLiteSpeed 1.0.2 has been released, containing a variety of updates!

Feature enhancements

• Improved rewrite engine url handling.
• Updated install.sh to use the old user:group if previous XML config file exists.
• Updated install.sh to use "nogroup" for Ubuntu/Debian.
• Added option to disable PHP STDERR logging.
• Removed liblber dependancy.

Bug fixes

• Fixed WebAdmin console template member vhost instantiate bug.
• Fixed bug that was causing variables (such as $VH_HOME) in virtual host template member vhosts to not be parsed.
• Fixed problem with send/recv fd on freebsd 64bit.

No problems updating, anyone have this issue where it just says the version is v1.0, only on the "/service/serviceMgr.php?state=restarted" URL does it show the full v1.0.1, v1.0.2, etc. Maybe they cut off the last point on every other page, or it's just hardcoded.

I have this issue where in my original .htaccess I had a rewrite like: ^foo/[a-z-]+)/$
But with litespeed rewrite it doesn't work, but if I add a beginning slash it works: ^/foo/[a-z-]+)/$
I was thinking maybe this update would fix it (or maybe the previous rewrite was not correct anyways), but nope, although it's a small issue.

Actually, you can see the full version number on the screen right after you do a restart. (Because it reads from the system files.) But that's it. We need to update it so all the pages show this. Thanks!

As for the rewrite rule, that's because the rewrite rule is not in an .htaccess file. It's in the virtual host configuration now. Virtual host configurations require an absolute path...

Yea I mentioned that above. At first I thought the full version showed whenever you restart, but later came to the conclusion that the full version is basically shown on this page "/service/serviceMgr.php?state=restarted" regardless if you actually restarted or not. Even if you don't restart, but request that page you could see the full version.

Ah, I didn't think of that, it makes sense. Although I remember the odd thing was apache didn't like it when I added that slash at the beginning, but I never tried moving it to httpd.conf, which it may need the slash there.

Yeah, I reread your post after I posted and realized you had figured out where the full version was shown. (I was too distracted by smilies apparently.)

And, yeah, in http.conf the rewrite rules need the slash, but they don't in .htaccess files.

Why do people have piercings? Maybe they want to look cool, it must be the same reason for the sword, it wants to look cool. Apparently, it's also great for having the opponent be able to stop your sword by sticking their thumb through the piercings (look at profile for full pic).

See, that's the problem with looking cool. It's all fun and games till somebody sticks a thumb through your piercing. (I definitely thought that hand was up in more of a "Please don't stab me" gesture...)
