    nginx is no more

At least on any of my servers. I have taken ALL my forums/sites (at last count that was 10 VPS's with 14 sites) over now to OpenLiteSpeed. I just wish I could get OLS 1.3 to play nicely for me. On a few sites it does but on most of them I get CSS display errors out the wazoo.

    Congratulations 1.3

One of two reasons probably. Either you didn't copy your structure for your forum/site over to the /lsws/DEFAULT/html location or You didn't change your index file to index.php from index.html in the vhost setting.

    Congratulations 1.3

I'd "downgrade" to 1.2.9 instead of 1.2.8 if I was you. I've had to take almost all my sites back to 1.2.9 for different reasons. One of them I could NEVER get the SSL to work reliably. Regressed back to 1.2.9 and the exact config worked perfect. One of the WordPress sites I have set up for...

    OpenLiteSpeed 1.3

OK.. have figured out what my problem was. In my php.ini I had (under 1.2.9) to put the zend_extension=/usr/local/lsws/lsphp5/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20121212/opcache.so in it to get the opcache to work. If you have done this, then you MUST remove it from your php.ini with 1.3 -...

    OpenLiteSpeed 1.3

Anyone else try compiling on Debian and end up with a non-responsive or broken site? I tried upgrading my http://servinglinux.com to it and it no longer worked. Was doing a new VPS for a local tax office and decided to try OLS 1.3 on it and same thing (with a simple word press install). The CSS...

    Compiling on Debian Wheezy

On the required list, replace build-essentials with build-essential (drop the s). I would have edited the original post but cannot due to time expiration. Also need to add libmcrypt-dev to the build essentials apt-get list. @Slavik, if you could edit the original post this one can be deleted.

    OpenLiteSpeed/myBB vs Friendly URL's

Bingo! Thanks @lsmichael, that solved the problem. I knew it was probably something simple but couldn't find it doing a google search. The built in friendly works with it now. Now it's time to go to work on the Google SEO one.

    OpenLiteSpeed/myBB vs Friendly URL's

OK... got the friendly URLS working on my XenForo and WP sites... but myBB is another matter. My rewrite is the standard one provided by myBB: RewriteRule ^forum-([0-9]+)\.html$ forumdisplay.php?fid=$1 [L,QSA] RewriteRule ^forum-([0-9]+)-page-([0-9]+)\.html$...

    Compiling on Debian Wheezy

If you do a minimal net install of Debian Wheezy and go to compile OLS on it, you will find that it won't work. You need to install the below (at the minimum) aptitude install libssl-dev make automake build-essentials g++ libpcre3 libpcre3-dev libexpat1-dev libgeoip-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev...

    libwww-perl

Sorry about the delay in updating... it's working now. It was a munin/munin-node problem (forgot to change the IP's for the individual server configs and then allow connections from that IP in CSF to be allowed at all times).

Server Setup Guide Part 3 (CentOS, OpenLiteSpeed, Percona) (With Pictures!).

On my next Debian setup (which is WAY different in some manners than CentOS) I'll have to document it and ship it over to @Slavik. There are several additional items you have to install on the Debian minimal install just for compilation. Meant to do it this go around, but with the rush to set...

Enable geoip & imagemagick in PHP

Yep.... found it after a lengthy Google search - so it's all working now. Still trying to get the admin.php password protected (got the /install done). Not THAT worried about it since they are protected (the XenForo sites) by Google authenticator.

    libwww-perl

That's what I though (but for me it's actually apt-get install). I think what is happening is CSF may be blocking the munin port (even though it should be allowing it as it's configured as a valid port).

    libwww-perl

How to enable this under OpenLiteSpeed. With nginx it's as simple as installing it via aptitude and it gets used. Apparently not under OLS.

    Rewrite problem

When you say the same... I'm assuming you mean in location place /admin.php and URI also /admin.php? I've got my Linux site (http://servinglinux.com) running live on it currently. Still testing the password protection stuff.

Enable geoip & imagemagick in PHP

OK... think I found the problem. In the generated php.ini the extension_dir is set at extension_dir = ./ and it needs to be set at extension_dir = /usr/local/lsws/lsphp5/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20121212/. One problem now is that the PHP 5.5.x opcode cache is not enabled (and I...

Enable geoip & imagemagick in PHP

OK... I've tried the process of /usr/local/lsws/lsphp5/bin/pecl install imagick to install imagemagick and the same for geoip. The .so files get written to the /usr/local/lsws/lsphp5/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20121212 location but when I place the extenstion=geoip.so (and the one for...

    Rewrite problem

Lately it's been the "simple" stuff that's been getting me. I just got a new E3-1230 v3 server with 6 240GB SSD drives in a RAID 10 array with ProxMox set up on it. Been busy as a beaver moving some sites off my dedicated servers over to VPS's on it (mainly because the servers are RAID 1...

    Rewrite problem

Duhhh... I been up WAY to long. Figured out what the problem was. I was "assuming" that the on/off button above the log level was for logging of rewrites (that's what I get for not reading closely) but it's to turn them on/off!

    Rewrite problem

And, I spoke to soon... all my browsers are STILL not redirecting if I have any other stuff in there.
