Hi,I have been writing software since 1983... then for 40 years I practised dentistry... since retiring, I have returned to my first love... I manage the servers myself... I have been using MyvestaCP & HestiaCP for my servers since 2016 and have always been very satisfied... but I have a feeling that the necessary updates will not be guaranteed in the future, so I am considering switching to your community.
I need to set up two new servers and I would prefer not to install them with Debian 12 and then have to migrate to Debian 13 in a few months, with the loss of time and the risk that something will block production or lost data.
I carefully analysed all the software for managing and facilitating the administration of web servers and related domains (I mainly use WordPress).
I tested a couple that claimed to be already compatible with deb13, but in reality they are not yet fully compatible (at least for my situation).
The administrators/maintainers of MyvestaCP & HestiaCP openly state that, due to a lack of funding and time, they will not be updating to deb13 for the next few months, and there are no road maps.
I was surprised to discover that your community reacted promptly to the Debian upgrade and has already been able to guarantee a minimum of positive results since August (I understand the teething problems of deb13, it's normal).
I will now begin my first installation attempt and hope that it goes well... I would be honoured to become a permanent member of your community.
As US Navy Admiral David Farragut said at the start of the naval battle off Mobile Bay in 1864,
