Which version to choose

What's the Main Idea and the main difference between these two versions.

OpenLiteSpeed V 1.5.4
OpenLiteSpeed V 1.4.49

Does the newer version always include all the stable features plus some new features?

When would you recommend to use the newer 1.5.4 version?

1.5.4 contains all changes and new features and also has more bugs fixing than 1.4.49.
Yes, I suggest to use 1.5.4.

But what is the proper way to upgrade when I installed it from a binary?
And is there a way to use the package manager to install the 1.5.x version?

Oh, the notice is just a notice, it will download the package file.
I will fix the notice in the next release.
But you still need to download it from our site or GitHub and upgrade yourself.
