context no longer working on 1.3.1?

Seen it. Thanks! We've got to figure out how to streamline communications... I know some people like using this forum more, but the developers are on that group. For the time being, at least, I guess people can come here to talk about configuring OpenLiteSpeed and other stuff, but if you've got...

    .htaccess patch/plugin

Howdy, Just figured I'd put in my two cents when I have time. I'm mostly interested in why people think OpenLiteSpeed is not a "full-featured product". It is a new product, of course, and thus we're still working on adding features. But, if your argument is that OpenLiteSpeed is not a...

context no longer working on 1.3.1?

Got it. Seems to be a problem with password protection. The fix will be in the next version. Thanks guys!

Do all your contexts not work now? Even the example contexts? m

context no longer working on 1.3.1?

Thanks. I forgot to add: if y'all don't have Github accounts, you can always report bugs to the Google group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/openlitespeed-development

context no longer working on 1.3.1?

Borked? Oh no! Certainly seems like a bug. I've pointed out this thread to the developers, but, when you've got something that seems so obviously to be a bug, let's try putting it in the Github issues: https://github.com/litespeedtech/openlitespeed/issues?page=1&state=open This will get...

    Openlitespeed 1.3.1 make error

You're absolutely right that you can't use a vhost without a listener. This is why the default vhost is configured to listen on any IP address for any domain. Whenever you create a vhost, it will be picked up by this listener, unless you configure another, more specific listener.

    Openlitespeed 1.3.1 make error

Silly me. The error does indicate that it was a WebAdmin listener: "[config:admin:listener:adminListener:ssl]" Glad you were able to find it. And we'll definitely take in to consideration whether we should display the default value. Michael

    Openlitespeed 1.3.1 make error

Ah. Sorry about that. WebAdmin > Configuration > Listeners > your listener > SSL > Enable SPDY. You'll note in the tooltip that it says that the default is "Yes". m

How To Upgrade To New Version

:D The modules are for page caching (and later pagespeed) and then for you and your friends to build on even more functionality. We're still working on the documentation, though. It's turned out to be a bear...

Try turning off SPDY. I believe that will get rid of the message.

How To Upgrade To New Version

Hey @Tracy Perry We haven't been able to reproduce the problem you're having. The developers have tried it on Debian and Ubuntu (and a bunch of other OSs), but haven't seen anything like this. Is it still happening with 1.3.1? If so, maybe we'll have a developer take a look at your...

1.3.1 is out and info about cache installation

Updated article to get rid of unnecessary (automatic) steps in 1.3.1. Ignore that advice about steps 1.1-1.4 in the post above. Cheers, Michael

1.3.1 is out and info about cache installation

 Here's the cache module configuration guide: http://open.litespeedtech.com/mediawiki/index.php/Help:Modules:Cache Apparently, I forgot to add it to the configuration guides page, though it's been on the site since the release of 1.3... Now, though, steps 1.1-1.4 are unnecessary because...

1.3.1 is out and info about cache installation

Howdy, Cache is still an extra module, but it is installed as a default now. You don't have to manually make and install it yourself now. Cheers, Michael

    Openlitespeed V1.3.1

Very, very soon? We think it will be out this week, but there's still a lot of testing going on. The danger with making predictions about these kinds of things is that testing often reveals things that need to be fixed, and then, well, the release gets pushed back a little. m
